ERG Staffing is hiring Material Handlers for a warehouse in Portland, PA.

We are hiring immediately on 2nd shift.

Pay rate is $17.50/hr

Forklift experience required.

Essential Daily Responsibilities

  • Employees also have to load raw materials onto the machine conveyor belts, grinders and shredders.
  • Follow equipment procedures to keep line running
  • Use forklift to transfer material
  • Follow production schedule to fulfill orders
  • Abide by all safety policies and practices
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Must be able to work a 12-hour shift 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
  • 2-week rotational 2*2*3 schedule: Sun, Wed, Thurs and Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat Physical Qualifications
  • Lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds
  • Standing for an extended period of time
  • Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist and reach
  • Working in both hot and cold weather conditions is necessary.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Employees have to be capable to read and write English.
  • Be a dependable self-starter with a desire to learn and cross train
  • Have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, follow direction, and excellent attendance
  •  Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
